I had a 1983 Indy Trail 440 Fan sled....

After a few years of use... It was hard to start...

What I had was a stuck Piston ring on 1 or both cylinders...

A way to inspect... is to pull the exhaust Y pipe at the block.

You might be able to free up the ring(s) by 'poking around'

or adding a 'chemical cleaner'???? Not good....

Worst case is disassemble the motor at a Polaris Dealership...

that could be it but i did a compression test when i got it because i could
not get it started and both cylinders were pushing close to 150 i think or
around that area could the ring still be stuck
